There are some tutorials on smilebasicsource.com for reference, or the linked manual in the program. I'd elaborate too much on it.

RGBREAD(GSPOIT(X,Y)) out R,B,G Basically just turn it into the RGB colors for your enjoyment. Not 100% sure on the syntax, but should be right.

You need many different tutorials. Learning BG commands is probably the most important.

Welcome a mi casa! RPG log 3: rocks now tell you stuff when you look at them, also, most importantly, you can enter houses with doors! Didn't have much time to work on it yesterday.

I also wouldn't recommend using ACLS in a loop either. It is better to just clear text with CLS, Graphics with GCLS, or the Background with BGCLR and just use the ones that you need. So if you are just using graphics just use GCLS.

Use BGLOAD and a single dimension array. So "LOAD "DAT:WHATEVER_L0",MAP BGLOAD 0,MAP

Use VSYNC 1. Sometimes may require higher values, but normally 1 will work. Or use frame buffers by swapping GPAGEs for graphics, but text has to use vsync.

This took me a bit too. What you do is LOAD "INSERT DAT MAP NAME",MAP BGLOAD 0,MAP and the MAP array has to have 1 dimension, I believe.

What's this, town to the right? RPG log 2: added signs and better text boxes. Added (but havent used) choice boxes. Moving is all good now, even better than before. 3D effects also added.

Working on my first RPG log 1: got map loading down, now moving is being buggy. Text box code is done, besides answer boxes. Going well for day 2.

That you would need to refresh the screen to move the character based on it's location. Should be comparatively simple depending on your skill.

I believe it attatches 2 sprite's X's and Y's so they are synchronized. Rotations and UV values are not synchronized though. Not sure the full of how to use it, as I havent tried yet.

Image manipular going well so far. Has already passed the capabilities of mine in PTC.

Sweet, got some fair work done on my image editor. It will edit them pixel-per-pixel or hand-drawn, and will have some cool features (like Deresolute, as shown). More work tomorrow including actually editing!
