well depending on what you need for your mini map, will play a factor of how much code is need and if it reads realtime or as a player move along and if it stores the info for your mapping system or it just shows the perimeter of player at a location. ethier way your need a array for it to read from...
if you add moving bad guys you mite want too add a little drift, for players ship. Just a little not much so they don't over steer the ship. and they mite even glide pass the enemy! like asteroid the game. it a idea not really needed...
so far fun, take getting use to touchy controls. works very good level 1 was tricky! now on level 2. anyway I got bright idea to just hover in a lazer beam for fun to see how many hit ship take, well sad to say YOU WILL DIE FOREVER AND FOR FOREVERMORE... as you do your homework eat dinner with your loving family, take a shower, goto bed get up goto work, come home,do all chorus, yep still dies;)
yes it in the manual or in one of game samples of smile basic. check it out if still can't figure it out ask again, it part or learning to program, bud.
i like it and so miss it so much, its amazing what i was able todo with it, it was so basic :) , i think i made a joke. but it true somethings I did with it, I'm having hard time recreating in smilebasic! Oh that right still have it too!
ok if that right, then I should be able to read from a 2D array and push or pop to a 1d array for X and 1D array for y right if i got what your saying, right?
and be perpared to fail alot on making thing work at first try, we learn when we fail at doing things. to better understand how to make something work, or work around it. plus do be afraid to ask questions it still stumped on how to do something!
then after you understand all that then start working on you game to speed thing up ask friend to help with game, like artwork music, ect. its alot of work for one person to make a complete game, and start small and set time lots so it on your free time and be prepared to put time into it like a hobbie your not going to get it done in one day.
Well I been working on my RPG for over 3 years now started in petit computer redoing it with smile basic because qrs are to many to scan take to long for people to download just to play game works great in petit found some new bugs i overlooked tho. anyway there no quick fix to learning something new it will take some time to learn. read the manual learn from others programs like one that -
