Oh yeah, green is comments. Take out the ACLS and that should fix it. Or, look at my code better, you didn't put the ACLS in a preload loop. (it only hits it once before going into the loop)
Yeah man I hear you, my rpg has taken so much time and I've almost completely stopped coding it for 2 months now. I'm finally starting to get motivation again. It's like artist block, it comes in waves.
Oh man Quote, where do I begin? You're code structure doesn't really make sense. 1) You can't/shouldn't specify DIM without actually specifying a dimension. ie: DIM X[5]
You're not using the index you could just be using VAR. (variables) for this example.
Not really easy per se. With dedication and good problem solving/logic skills you will succeed though. Don't expect to make a good rpg with just a little work. I've put over 40 hours into an rpg and it's not even close to done.
You're probably better of incrementing a color value 1 at a time in your main loop, then decreasing it again once it's at a certain amount. This will give you a more progressive fade effect that will take longer.
Whaaa!? (Tim Allen voice). Is this a new submission on SBS? Sry but gotta ask for key thus loojs awesome, unless its on SBS just tell me where to find it, ty
