Spadroon is a type of a sword. Do a search query for "spadroon" and you'll see what it looks like.

Sounds a lot like Splatoon eh? But it's not for spoony bards! A lightweight, one-handed, straight and narrow bladed, cut and thrust fighting sword commonly carried by European armies in the 18th century. King Bradley in Fullmetal Alchemist has one.
