Coding's an art and everyone's slightly different. I like Hanzo's way of thinking. Here's mine. The trick is to keep dividing by 2 until it's gonna be less than 1, then stop and print the remainders. This way no leading zeroes will appear.
I have a SmileBasic expert friend whom I can ask for help, but without him I'd rate a 6 in difficulty. There are certain parts I just won't get on my own and I can't deny spending hours getting frustrated over this. But that applies to academic studies too I guess.
Ever wonder where you put that file? Tired of the "cannot be found" error? Never fear, this handy file search/launcher app comes to the rescue!
[WAVYS3K4].
It's easy as 1. assign this app to the SMILE button in Options, 2. change Line 10 to #TRUE, and 3. follow the search term instructions. You'll never waste time finding your files again!

That looks exactly right to me if those are the only lines you changed. And you select song number by pressing left or right, just like you would to HOUR and MIN. Can you upload this so I can see where the problem lies?
Can you show me your code around Line 60s? Find this post when pausing your screen and post the screenshot so I can check it for you. Or upload a public key. Maybe you changed something you shouldn't or made a typo.
You mean posting to miiverse FROM running a program in smilebasic? No such way. It doesn't communicate with miiverse at all. We need to do it the old school way like what you did; HOME button pause and log on to miiverse etc.
So it ran fine, whew! If you edit the codes exactly like the green lines, your song selection should increase from 5 to 34. Of course no new titles are added in the box since we didn't edit PRINT. Just consider them hidden tracks :-]
Could you elaborate on "not doing anything?" Did it not run at all? I'd like to see a screenshot if you'd please. As an alarm app you need to turn the volume all the way up, and leave the 3DS lid open.
Oh. Well this is a coding program, not actually a "game" like Mario Maker, so I wasn't sure what "games" you were talking about. It's a good idea if people can actually code those in themselves, but then again you already know it's Farfetch'd.
Note: Font is not reflective in the app.
Tip: Change lines 62-63 to "...B=(B+34) MOD 35" and "...B=(B+1) MOD 35" to get more ringtone selections! I didn't only because I couldn't fit in that many song names in my textbox.
I made a simple alarm app! [7473N3A4]. SmileBoom already said that 3rd party wares aren't allowed to run in sleep mode so it isn't as useful as the DSi alarm, but it DOES work when your 3DS's kept open! (special thanks to @zaebrkr the fox for his tech support)
Imho=in my honest opinion. And yes you should get it. This is the ONLY official program that allows you to write codes in 3DS, and even if you don't know how, you can download other people's creations and play their games, maybe even learn the basics of coding from them. Think this way: for just 10 bucks you can have UNLIMITED games!
You need to enter a public key only if you want to download and play with games/programs someone else created. Try 74NXS3HJ for example. Self PRing ;-)
