random map generation done though really need to make something to prevent crashing/getting stuch in blocks. (i have an idea though) now you may be wondering why i keep putting random poles in pictures.. well theres a very good explanation to that. one that ill think of soon.. jk but its the only bg sprite that looks good as an object.. or atleast decent

so im going to make a custom sprite collision thingy then a map generator then maybe a game also really cool thing! in spooky maze calc never made the maps, they just built themselves! or as far as i can see they did.. anyways really loving rearning raycasting!

snow/cloud themed here with a cool block i made in the back.. anyways i really need help figuring out the object stuff, how do i tell when they are hitting the player? it must be simple but which variables do i use?

well its only one block high and it cant go higher, though ive been trying to see if i could make something to make the blocks taller instead of adding more blocks which is i think i was told impossible.. but the maps can be really massive!

same. also i was wondering how you are so good at making these.. where did these skills come from..? anyways do you know of a command that will let me copy some of the bg sprites onto a sprite sheet and i mean some as in leaving the other ones on the normal sprite page. i know its possible because it was done in spooky maze.

simply put: you have your touch out, then three variables which are usually TT,TX,TY but in some cases are different because it honestly dosent matter. take the first one TT and at the ent of your touch code IF TX>40 AND TX<80 THEN IF TY>40 AND TY<80 THEN TT=1 (stuff) ENDIF ENDIF or something near to that i think. (might be a bit off as i am doing this from memory)

oh. have you never used raycasting? just a thought because you seem confused, im using *learning* the raycasting library that calc84 made for using the engine. though as ive read it casts a ray onto a grid or forgot the word to get the location.. idk much because i just recently started learning.. though if you have never tried it i would recommend it a lot. its really fun just to play with..

uh.. ok.. its just raycast.. but yeah the graphics are awesome and i cant wait to see my game come about (though nothing is planned as of yet) anyways im trying to figure out how to do sprite world based collision.
