POLYGON 1.0.1's gameplay screen option came along nicely! I did accidentally create a tricky bug that got rid of the player sprite because XSCREEN was called repetitively in a loop, luckily I managed to track it down. Down to the last of this update's features!
Alright, I'll try. I guess, even though it was recommended against using, the creators of BIT.TRIP did leave the circle pad controls there. One more thing to do for this update then! Still, the JUMP power-up will require use of the stylus.
Well, if there are no comments, I could comment it's code so it's there in case it ever comes up again, but won't be available in 1.0.1. The gameplay screen option is almost complete, but I think I'll add some 3D to it before I release the update ;)
Now I've added a MetaCube power-up indicator that tells you the name of the power-up you got and starts pulsing when it's about to run out! I'd like some feedback though, would it be worth keeping the control style option for 1.0.1? I think POLYGON would be almost unplayable with the circle pad. Any thoughts?

It all depends on opinion whether you'd find it fun of course, I've got one you can try out called POLYGON, a pretty tricky fast-paced evasion game! The key is 7SVVV34J but an update for it is near release.
@DereK//A fan game uses similar concepts and ideas, but if it copies all aspects it becomes a port. Also, he's stated many times that he will not be publishing this project, it's just a sort of fun side project.
Did you try calibrating your touch screen? This may be why it isn't detecting anything in the corner. The calibration option is in the system settings.
Oh, so Petit Modem then. Pretty cool, the things it can accomplish. I tried making my own SSTV decoder with SmileBASIC (a sound encoder and decoder used for transmitting images through sound, often used by amateur radio enthusiasts) but with all the background noise it didn't work so well...
@Pkyoshi19//How in the world did you manage to get a photo like that in?! Or did you take it from your screenshot album or send it through Petit Modem?
A little extra feature I added (look in the bottom right of screenshot), an indicator that tells you the name of the power-up you get when collecting a MetaCube. Please still look at my previous question though! :D
Well, actually I can see the point behind a option to choose which screen you play on, but would a control style option actually be helpful? This game would be very difficult to play with the circle pad, and there would be no way to implement the JUMP power-up with it. And either I would have to make it move you really fast and hard to control, or relatively slow so difficult to evade enemies.
Back from my summer trip! Still working on POLYGON 1.0.1, it's nearly complete. Now that I've implemented options saving, I just need to get controls options to work. Please report any bugs found in 1.0 here so I can fix them, this is a patch after all!

Ok I lied. I just finished adding a save button for all the options (including pre-game options), but I still have to implement controls options. Once I make the gameplay screen and control style options work, THEN 1.0.1 should be ready.
