It's here! It's fina-lilly here!
Good bye job, school, and social life, SmileBASIC is here!
I'm so hyped right now! So many ideas for games and projects... Time to get started!
Try it out!
This little program will use TALK to speak random Japanese syllables to itself in different voices, almost as if your're intercepting a conversation between aliens from outer space...
So excited for this app. Petit Computer was fantastic, and it taught me so much about programming. Let's hope this is as awesome as its predecessor. Anyway, time to get my game dev on.
Testing objects with smooth movement and my tile collision detection algorithm. New 3DS can han handle just over 100 objects at 60fps. Old 3DS can handle 27 objects.
So, I have this now. I liked the DSi version even though I never was able to program anything in it, only play what other people made. Nice to have a 3DS version with better graphics and features.
Anyone notice how much more powerful this is? The max array size is about 40000x40000. Compare that to the previous version, 512x512! It runs about x30 faster, too! This app is amazing. I loved PTC2!
ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS THING SINCE SPRING!!! I waited...and waited...and waited...and when I finally decide to spend the money I was saving, THEN IT DECIDES TO COME OUT! ARGH!
Also, crud. It's here, but I haven't made much progress with MK2...
I am absolutely loving SmileBASIC! It's so easy to get started with coding and just mess around with the code. I sometimes see it as a puzzle to figure things out in the code! Absolutely amazing, 10x better than the DSi version, Petit Computer.
WELP, I have it now! I need to do two things immediately! The first...cry in a corner because I didn't get much out of mkII before this came out...the second...TAME THE BEAST! :D
Hi, friends in North/South America.
Congratulations on the release of smilebasic.
as a celebration, we give you some Public Keys of Games we have created.
some of them contain Japanese Language but I believe it's not so important problem.
So far...im drooling. Everything, with the exceptions of the added content, is relatively the same as PTC mkII (Thankfully). If I can make the game I started in mkII, I'll be happy!
SmileBoom Co. Ltd. has confirmed that it cannot be purchased at this time.
They "are working closely with Nintendo" to resolve the issue.
Advantages of getting the Gold Membership:
-the number of files you can upload will increase from 10 to 100.
-the maximum file size will increase from 4MB to 20MB.

Im so glad this is finally out. wish nintendo would put it somewhere a little more noticable on eshop at least for release week and certainly it should be listed under the applications category.

Practicing by porting some old code from PTC. Here's a tiny program that seems to do nothing, but maybe you just need to enter a certain sequence of button presses...
(Testing button press detection)
You are in the inorganic maze nobody know who has constructed. The time bomb will explode 200 seconds after if you fail to reset timer. And to make matters worse, the enemy robots are on patrol to capture you. You have to reset timer before explosion. In order to reset timer, you have to step on 10 reset buttons on a floor of the maze.
