its used to make games/programs in 'basic', that said it wont directly teach you how to use it... i got it to download other peoples games mostly, maybe learn something along the way
Adding on to Devons post, BASIC is a very old scripting language used on computers such as the Commodore 64 (C64). While it's not the best language to write a game/program in today it is very reliable, with a few popular games originally being written in BASIC, like Test Drive, which I consider to be a bery fine example of BASIC scripting.
