So, a bit difficult fo find/figure out the best command for extracting the characters. It may be LEFT$. However, this here works except its converting the string value to integers. If you can change that part then voila!

Don't limit yourself by only using them for maps/saves. They are very useful as they are not fixed size, and can be directly iterated through loops.

That's the problem buddy! You can travel to different space stations, and each station has different prices for each item. I need to balance the starting funds, item prices and fuel cost.

The problem now is, balancine all the pricing. I'm considering figuring out how to put it into an excel spreadsheet, or letting you guys test it. Either way it needs balancing.

Devlog: Well, the upgrade menu is now fully functional. Making the all of the base functions complete, so the game is definitely playable.

Also, if we found a new planet it's not (shouldn't be) in our solar system. So it should take much longer than 4 months even one way. Unless they invent a faster form of space travel, or FTL.
