Computer Science graduates have really high earning potential. Not without reason though it can be very difficult. For instance, discrete mathematics. In the end they will have the most programming knowledge though.
All sorts of companies, any big company needs at least some programmers. I'm surprised no one has mentioned Java itself. I wouldn't recommend it for games, and OOP is a very different way of programming.

Sorry, I know it sounded that way. I know you've gotten pretty good with SB, I didn't even know all that, what Stewart said. I've seen on YT vid a while back, for using ray-casting in a top down 2-d for lighting and stealth detection. It was pretty advanced, way over my head math wise.
lol, you know how many text based games are on SB, heck my first game was pure text. Like they said, main problem is you need a loop, and with a VSYNC, not wait 300.
