One suggestion I'll make is that if you select "don't care" that'll be what everybody calls you. I get that character limits are a thing and if the limit is shorter then 10 it wouldn't work without changing dialog. That's just my 2 cents that nobody asked for

The original mode 7 code. I want to see how well it works with the raycast engine and what possibilities could come from it.

I take back what I said, putting the characters in the side of the boxes would be better. It keeps the enemy area free of clutter fills the empty space of each character's info box and could still keep the possibility for pallet swapped status effects

I like it better with the characters on screen. I think the top text box would need to be a bit smaller for it so the main enemies wouldn't be crowded. And with the characters on screen, you can change their colors to represent status effects so it wouldn't just be aesthetic. But that's just my opinion.

Sadly though I don't think I'll be making more projects for Smilebasic, or at least if I do they'll be very low on my priorities. As long as making games doesn't pay it'll be forced to take a back seat to my job that keeps me fed, housed, and keeps the bills at bay. I'm working on moving my games from here to my PC so when they're done I can put them on Steam

Sad to say that the rpg is on hiatus. I can't juggle making two games, work and trying to make a name for myself on twitch. However I haven't forgotten it and might use twitch to work on it

Are you planning on having on having a point system that allows you to "level up" your guns or having guns made up of different parts that you can switch out to change stats?

Pretty good! got a surface so i can work on it on my lunch breaks like i did with smile basic and with the touch screen hand drawn images are now possible. just trying to find a process that works for me

I think the switch looks pretty cool, but I'm worried how it'll affect the 3ds and anything that would follow it, and if it would affect game design at all. The handheld games were defined as a more "pick up put down" kind of gameplay and that makes me worry about a portable console
