Oh don't worry about it. To be honest it kinda bugs me, but text boxes can only be so long. Anyways moving sprites is simple just have it that when a specific thing happens, such as pressing left on the D-pad, you change the sprite's X, Y or maybe even it's Z value. Then be sure to have something like SPOFS I,X,Y,Z (Z is optional, it could just be SPOFS I,X,Y

The tomes do not have a rock paper scissors effect, they just have different attack power and all need 5 sp to use.

And the last form of weapon animation is done. Now I get to work on the attack items which should be pretty easy now that the arrows work

There is also a magic bow that turns arrows into fireballs. The dragon bow doesn't use sp so it still needs an arrow, but it still does magic damage

Arrows finally work. Probably the toughest attack to animate, but it's done now. There is one thing left to do, but I'll show that off later.

There's also 5 tomes. Three attack tomes, fire ice and thunder, that follow the normal weapon scale plus a healing and barrier tome. Then there's the bows, one physical and one magic. Those are the main weapons. The boomerang is like a pseudo weapon. It is an item, but doesn't get used up when you use it unlike every other item which makes it useful for mages and archers

Everybody starts off with a knife (not quite sure why wolves would but whatever), but there are plenty of weapons that you can buy. The wand (cane staff and sceptre) is a type of weapon that that does physical damage but the power is based on the user's magic stat instead of their attack

Your welcome. And besides, if necessary it could be possible to replace blood with a "byproduct" of the pathogen. Maybe it wouldn't be the same, but it could have the same effect

Before there was Smile Basic there was Petit Computer. I can't really say I had a lot of help. The only help I did have was a website that was like a syntax guide that was taken down. Other than that it was just practice practice practice. What really helped me was doing a lot of small projects that focused different things.

I suggest playing/watching a play through of a game called Eversion. It does horror pretty well in my opinion, while still staying colorful and any gore isn't any worse than Spelunky
