Problem 1: I downloaded a "follow" demo from an aqaintance on Miiverse so that my characters all follow behind each other. It works great! The only problem is that on the first movement the 2nd party member that's following the player flashes to the top of the screen (assuming it has somdthing to do with the array equalling 0...) and then finding its place behind the leader. Any fix? Thanks!

Working on updating the story of my RPG. There is some sadness and mourning at the beginning (No, Quote, I didn't copy you, neither parents die.). I'm making progress, and need your help! (I'll be posting some problems I have in the comments below...)

Big favor to ask: If you've played any Earthbound or Mother game you'll understand exactly what I mean: Could somebody make a short little program for walking around where 3 characters follow behind you? Earthbound makes theirs by making the characters behond you do exactly what the person in the front does, just a bit delayed. I stink at arrays so this would be a BIG help and would move my game

Anybody good at Sprite collision and BG collision? By sprite collision I mean, does anyone know a good way to make it so that when you run into a sprite, it pushes you back? I've tried counter-acting the X value's increasing, but that leads to glitches. Any ideas? (I know SPHITSP and am practicing BGGET but can't get it to work...)

I love Earthbound's font, but I feel that your original font fit the feel of your game. It reminded me of the handwriting in The Lord of the Rings series.

Workin' on polishin' the battle system! So far I implemented leveling up and made it so that the little menus with health, experience, and level are centered. WILL I EVER FINISH THIS!?

You have to change the LOCATE's Z value. So instead of just X and Y, use this: LOCATE X,Y,-256 PRINT "Hello!" The -256 is the Z quality.

My RPG is released! (lol jk srry if that got anybody excited) I have been working on polishing things such as cutscenes, etc. I am planning on making this for a computer using C# or Unity. I'd say I am about 1/8 of the way done, sooooo, again, it'll take a while...

Calling all BASIC professionals: Ever seen Earthbound's rolling HP and PP bar? I've always liked it and would like to imitate it. It's sorta like a slot machine. I could probably do the math to make it slowly subtract, but I have no idea what to do about the actual slots that go down to 0. Any ideas? (Sorry if this questions sounds confusing. Search up earthbound rolling hp bar to know my point.

Yes, yes! Took most of my inspiration from Mother 3. This game actually started out as a Zelda imitation project, then turned into a JRPG. My biggest goal for this is to keep it original, though (there will be no references to any games [besides these weird Zelda bedsheets I made a while back]).

Added a new party member! Her name is Emily and she's a celebrity's daughter. She's the typical "bad boy/girl". She hates it when her parents force her to put on dresses, etc. Sadly, there is a boss battle with her parents (don't worry, the parents didn't attack [in an ironic way, Emily did {all the characters will "regretfully attack"}])
