i need some help, (this is *J.P.* btw)(2ds nnid) so the "jump" thing you made, is it very hard to make it able to go left and right not just right? also is it hard to make the sections taller, like fitting on the whole screen?
can you tell me how i can do this, most of your code is very confusing, i cant really tell what most does.
I tried to modify my jump thing you mentioned, however I have not finished yet. Going to both direction is much harder than just one direction. I'll continue retrying it. Could you wait?
Could you download [9K2N3PJM] and refer to "EX_JUMP2"?
It allows you to go to both directions.
If you give me any questions about it, I'll answer to each of them as clearly as possible. But please don't expect excessively, because my English vocabulary is not enough.
ok thanks, ill start working on turning it into.. something.. ill tell you if i need any help, and thank you for the labels you put in there.
..just wondering, in you game "landing on the carrier" is there actually any way to win?
ive tryed over and over, and still cant seem to get it right..
#4 Land on stern of carrier.
#5 start reverse thrust just before landing.
[procedure to start reverse thrust]
1. Press L button to decrease thrust.
2. After thrust becomes zero, release L button once.
3. Press L button again.
An air combat game? Great! I'm coming up with a great way of creating vector graphics in SmileBASIC! I suppose that I may program that sometime soon. I'd like to use that concept to recreate some Vectrex games, made back in the 1980's.
"Help! Spike!"
"Oh no! Molly!"
I have not seen "Vectrex Spike" in Japan yet, but I know vector scan CRTs were often used for 3D video games. Drawing vector graphics on vector scan display was much faster and easier than on raster scan display (normal one) in 80's.
Of course 3DS's LCD is also raster scan display, but I guess SmileBASIC has enough potential for high speed vector graphics. I'm expecting completion of your work.
Vectrex a short-lived game console. Launched in 1982, died off a year or two after. I think it was all American. It was supposed to take the form of a mini arcade machine that goes on your table. It's not very well known now, but it did have a port of Pole Position by Namco. It had a white beam vector display, no color. I was thinking of just using variables and the instruction to draw lines.
I remember now!
Vectrex was sold also in Japan. Of course it was renamed. Its Japanese name was "光速船"(kousokusen:light velocity ship).
It was very very expensive, 54,800JPY(490USD). By the way, Famicom(NES) cost 14,800JPY(130USD).
You should not have turned on power after you pulled up your 3DS from the water.
Power supply to wet electric appliance causes electric shock, irreversible trouble and so on.
I recommend you to send your 3DS to Nintendo support for repair asap.
i dident turn it on, it was already on and the screen went all crazy flickering and blinking on and off and then i quickly took out the battery (as most of the time the back is unscrewed because charging port dosent work)
but dosent sending it to nintendo cost money..?
Unfortunately I guess payment for repair is indispensable.
Why don't you get that estimate first?
If it is too expensive for you, look for another option.
(e.g. look for reasonable used 3DS)
well im trying what SimΞon said which is to put it in a bag full of rice, and it seems to be working.
otherwise i will see if i can send it in..
lets hope this works..
