this is for our joint game AfterWar and right now its just shooting bullets and collision mainly but soon there will be more cool stuff. (and it has some bugs right now too) i release beta's to new test versions a lot (depending) and soon there will be a new one. if you wanna help make it go to my new discussion ill post in a min. also i post news and updates there too.

yeah but hes spamming it everywhere and its really annoying. I think as a joke we should try to get almost everybody to block him, hah see what he says then.

added hp bar, death animation, bullet sounds, a little better wall collision, a new test thing in the top left, bottom screen started and added a barrel that does nothing. well its 3am now so nighty night guys im tired bye. my eyes.. they burn.. jk but actually they do.

a loop is what keeps the game from ending, a normal one goes like this WHILE 'begining WEND 'end so it goes from top to bottom over and over, see if this werent there the program would end right away. you would put the button stuff in there. another thing is VSYNC, it sets your programs speed and is very useful, without it you would zoom insanely fast through the program,it makes it good speed

so if you were to check the buttons it would go like this, IF BUTTON() AND #A THEN BEEP 5 here when used in a loop it will beep when pressing the A button, there are many things like #R and other stuff like that, you can use numbers specified in the button thingy (on help bar for button command) but personally i use #A or stuff like that. the () after button is useful, look at help tool 4 more

making every bullet random colors is so fun! this is what i love about programming, you can do anything random you want while making stuff.. maybe ill make a rainbow gun that uses this! anyways i few more things then ill be done

ok i remembered what i needed and fixed it, also weirdly it works really well the new way im doing it, which used the stick input to see how much to push, this way going different speeds wont effect it there are many glitchy areas but a good tuning will fix that

i have hit another problem. so see that big wall on the left side? it says it is here where I am and that i am running into it. so the bgcollision is off by a big thing and isnt working, i had fixed this in my original bgcollision tests but i dont remember how i did it now. (it was a long time ago) help would be nice!

bullet collision for walls will be hard and getting wall collision will be worse.. i may scale up the bg as it look a bit small to me. what do you guys who read the bottom of my posts think?

well I mean when I made a new enemy and attached him to the same variables he went to the same place but the amount or x/y different so he was following the same place just farther away, I think I may have messed up in my first test though.. I will retry it again to make sure.. also I was wondering if you had any collision engines I could use (just basic stuff) as I lost all of my

yeah from different points like in splatterhouse but instead the main guys stays in the middle (he moves but instead he moves everything around him, making it look like he is moving around)
