The controls should be fairly straightforward. In the editor interface, you tap to place notes, and drag to set length. You can set precise values in the tabs on the right side. There will be FILE, EDIT, and SETTINGS drop down menus for easy access. L and R will switch between up to three files which can be open at once. I'll add some help information somewhere too, just in case. Don't worry ;)

Just a few more sprites for BitByte MML. I don't think I'll need too many as this will be mostly graphic drawn. I'm going for a darkish theme like... well, a lot of other editors out there x) I'm thinking of going for an Adobe-ish theme, similar to Photoshop and Illustrator.

Aaah! I can't tell where the boss' missiles are! This is a heavily randomized version of the Danmaku Shooting Game by the way :P

Somehow I managed to take this screenshot just as three Reflectors lined up! Also, as a side note, enemies can now spawn up to 240 pixels outside of all screen borders, thus improving the usefulness and overall occurrence of the enemy indicator.

It's named BitByte MML' (Music Macro Language) BECAUSE this is going to be a music designing program. Sure, with a different interface involving placing notes and everything, but you will be able to export the MML code for the song so you can apply it to programs. The basis of the music will still be around MML.

It's not much, but I've made a title sprite for BitByte MML! I can't wait to get started with this project...

All in... well, an hour or two's work! Fixed a bunch of pretty annoying bugs and now the enemy speed change has an effect. POLYGON Patch 1.0.2 is now available! Key: [NK4P4EBD]

The design I used for my logo, which I designed with PAINT.NET on my PC, uses part of the letter P to combine the M and P together. Then that area was green - combining the yellow and blue of those letters.

Going to add some sprites, changed the name though. I personally think BitByte MML sounds a lot better than using half my username x)

To share the files with the other collaboration members, you'd just have to publish the files and find some way to get the key to the intended recipient.

I've heard of a few collabs before. One way I can see it working could be with one person designing graphics, another music, and someone does the main programming. Then you could share the files for each element for the program with the person doing the programming so they can work off of that.

Starting up a new project (no, I'm not quitting work on POLYGON!) with a more tool-style goal, I'll see what I can do with this... Hopefully it'll be helpful in POLYGON's 'Musical Update' too! As a side note, I've removed all of my projects from the server except POLYGON.

Also remember that this application is only BASED on BASIC, so most commands are almost completely different. You might want to look in to the code of some of the samples to take a look, and try to learn the commands SmileBASIC uses instead, and the formats for them. For example, 'SPHITSP(cn, start cn, end cn)' is used to check for sprite collision, 'BEEP number' is used to play a noise, so on.

Instead of using line numbers or those references to jump to a particular spot in the program, SmileBASIC (as well Petit Computer, the older interpreter by SmileBoom) uses labels for GOTO and GOSUB commands, which are marked by any line beginning with @, thus letting you use any name for a label.

According to my phone's calculator, that number is not wholly divisible by 11 already. So it looks like I still have to multiply those numbers!

Hmmmm... I think my TI-83 may be messing up the results because of the size of the number, but according to the factor finder program I made, 950511799137600 has all the numbers under 100 as it's factors? I'll have to verify that though.

Looks like this number divisible by everything to 100 will have at least 40 digits, then I'll make a program with C to verify its the smallest one possible once I multiply the numbers together. I have to multiply a 26 digit number by a 15 digit one!
