I already submitted my program for the contest. However, i want to share a more advanced version of that program (DELUXE version).
The program is a "tech-demo", what it does is to cast multiple shadows in relation to several light sources.
DELUXE Key: W51333
Contest Key: N3A8EJQS
Funny thing that is very easy to do maintenance, since every "function" is stand-alone and most of the checks (like MOV, that checks if use VAR D instead of D=) are done with "flags". And also, very easy to add more commands using the same criteria. I could end up with a personal version of ASM.
I would recommend the recent Mighty Gunvolt Burst, if you like retro-Megaman.
The rest, just look up at the eShop discount sales and see what games caught more your attention.
Also, depends on what you want to aim for. Some people fells more comfortable with Web Developing rather than App developing, and vice-versa. My advice is to try a bit of both and choose the one you think is right for you.
What @Steward said. Working at making games is good when you're on a small team to get some extra buck, but is not good as a serious job. See it more like a Hobby.
Also, on Web Developing (at least on the most part) you won't code actually, but call bunch of frameworks that does the work for you. If you're accustomed with coding all by yourself, Web Developing will be a piece of cake.
