i still dont know why my post was deleted though.. defence it taking a long time.. cause i have to put in effect the changes with hp bar and damage too.. its VERY confusing... cause if the defence=10 and the hp=100 and i take 20 damage then usually without defence its -20 hp, hp=80 now, but instead its if def>10 then damage=-10% but not 10. i probably said it wrong, but you get the point.

which makes it even cooler, it wood be useful for manule blocks maybe breakable blocks, walls, doors, idk. i think its better the way you did it, but 380ish lines.. wow.

oh yeah, in the code you have that lets the sprite walk around, there should be a code that shows how fast you want it to move, use whatever you named it instead of speed.

well if its simply upgrades, like if speed+5 is bought then speed=+5 just add the sprite you want with it.

ok yay! i made my own attempt last night, basically the same but with a few changes, so now how do i make it check where its at, so, as you see i have different options to choose from, so like IF CY=4 (idk) AND BUTTON() PRESSED #A THEN GOTO @idk i know that dosent work, but something along those lines. that must sound really stupid... idk.

yeah, it wood actually, basically the view is like the terraria view (if you have ever played terraria you will know what i mean) sprite in the middle and bg moves at the same time, what was wrong was the, it wood make it when i hit an object it wood go all glitchy and weird, sometimes teleporting the sprite to another part of the screen, sometimes just forcing it away i just need somthing basic

sorry to leaf you hanging, i wood have posted sooner but i was just really, really busy so about release, its taken quite a bit longer and i feel like im BJG, (keep changing release date on update) so its now February (Subject to Change) ive made sooo much progress today though, making defence, the menu system, collectable money.. been busy.. i want to make an armor system, for defence too...

*Update 1.9.7!* The Betaverse Program. (or TBP for short) TBP is a secret code locked option, ONLY for main devs. Has DLC like content, future update info, sneak peeks and much more ok so we can move around now... so lets start the process of telling what one im on and making it do stuff by pressing A when on certain options, this should be fun.. no really, it will be fun. defence is coming next

like who? you can make the best of stuff easily, you can answer almost all Q&A's how about mml, do you know much about that..? hmm..? any hanzongs..? (that is a really badly made joke..) well back to the pit of endless lines of code.. talking about that, do you have any helpful demos on enemys like making them move around certain areas in a loop (kinda like mario enemys..? or anything like that

how did i not see this discussion? anyways, just saying hi to my homie Scientist, hows the OS going btw? oh and how wood i make something printed on the screen disappear without making everything else printed disappear? like for a selection arrow, if button (down on D pad) is pressed then make the above arrow disappear and print one on the next selection. and so on.. wood that work?

so parts of my menu is done but i would like help on making some arrow thing(y) to show what bar is selected, im also working on enemy and player based defence, its simple-ish still working on it... back to the menu, so just so that when i press up or down it changes what bar the arrow is on, and a way to detect what one so i can (if) arrow is on (idk, lets say settings..) then blah blah blah.

wait so you made 300+ lines of code just for this.?.? cool so its like an alternative to loading maps, (btw im learning a lot from your games code) that is if im understanding it right.. so any non decorative uses? ..? that and the like blah$ stuff, i skipped that part so im learning that... strings..? im making my games menu, like options, credits, codes, map, settings and ingame stuff.
