Well C++ and C are technically the fundamental programming languages, so once you learn the symbols and what they do, you're basically all set. Then it's just memorizing all the default libraries... The <cstdio> (stdio.h) library is most important to know.
But the only way to fully learn them is by doing them yourself, so practice would be the answer to your question.

First you should work on implementing backface culling, only draw the front 1-3 faces, and ignore the faces not facing the camera

The furthest back can only execute one instruction every few seconds
The closer you get to the top, the faster the window would run
Where the performance ratios are tweaked to always run at 60fps or 30fps
