Apparently, some bugs are harder to fix then others. I can't fix the feathers without messing up the sword and vice versa. So I'm taking a break from this to work on level design. Also this screenshot is taken from an extremely laggy attempt at fixing the damage bug

I wanted to have a demo done yesterday, but it is difficult to juggle this and a full time job. All I can say is that a demo with the first level will be done soon.

I've never understood why in sequels you start with nothing like you didn't just go on an adventure. Do the heroes just put everything back? So I thought what if somebody just went around stealing everything? So that's what you do, you steal the heroes' treasure, money and elemental crystals.

Isaias, I recommend checking for collision during the descent of a jump, on a very thin hitbox for the platform. As for the name, I won't say yet. You'll have to find it in the game.

In case anybody was wondering what I meant by "big plans", here you go. You can stand on the rock! You can use this to help you get to places you couldn't normally get to. Now I just have to fix 2 little bugs and it's on to level design, the final project!

Yes, Chako will eventually be able to do more than just the Feather Shot attack. The way I plan to have this game work is that the first 4 bosses will leave behind an elemental crystal. When you have a crystal equipped, you and Chako can perform special elemental attacks

Thanks for the support Phoenix! Unfortunately making the bullets dissapear would go against what I want to do. And I'm not sure where I would put invincibility frames. I had a plan, but some of the more complicated enemies use the variable I had planned for, and I would need an answer that works for everything.

Since each feather has it's own hitbox, You can do damage to multiple enemies, or all at one if you aim right. landing all three feathers on one enemy will deal almost double the damge of your sword!

This is why Chako's Feather Shot is awesome! Alone it's not as powerful as the sword, but it allows you to fight from a distance

Combat is almost done! I just have to figure out a way to make it so there are active hit boxes but also stop an enemy from taking damage every frame
