To be honest... My projects are big as well... Sometimes I think I keep biting off a ton more than I can chew... But that's only for the programming bit. Designs shouldn't be a problem.
I have some news about Rakugaki Brawl. The game will have two control schamatics, Novice and Pro. Novice has both Block (Y Button), and Jump (X Button) command buttons. Pro is your traditional Arcade control input. Look forward to the control comparison later on. For now I am working on one of my old programs. Stay tuned for more news.
Sure. Been awhile, hasn't it? Coding the moves should be easy. But it'll take a bit to make the sprites. But Kombo should be done in a snap since the sprites are made.
*News Update!*
Upon studying fighting games, I came across two games with simplistic input commands. So the input buttons are down to 2; Punch and Kick. The Guard and Jump buttons will still be in play though. And you will be given the option of customizing your controls just how you like.
