I've never seen an 'exit shop' quite like this before! It's an interesting way to do it, less boring than hitting 'B.' You could also put multiple npc's there to talk with.

That way you learn something new and have something you may be able to release.
The whole reason I made my 'Idle Crusher' game is because I wanted to learn how variables work. Now I am making it sprite based so I know how those work too.
Less screenshots more work! People want the game not the screen shots :p
But yes, of course continue! Did I forget to like a related post? lol
Now, if you are feeling burnt out take a little break and work on a side project. A good idea would be to look at this game and find something you want to do in the game that you dont know how to do and make a mini-game out of that!
I can understand that. They didnt just steal your ds, they stole your motivation too. It can be really discouraging to lose everything you have been building for years :(
If life is too busy for silly ds games at least they can be put on the back burner for holidays and de-stressing. Cant put university on hold :p
I believe Petit Professor has a tutorial on how to use it.
Personally, I leave the room when they are screaming at eachother otherwise small noises you make will disrupt the data transfer.
I think petit modem is super cool. Super retro, we just need casettes :p
Yes, the bar should be going up SLOWLY. One will scream "You got data for me?" The other will scream 'Yeah bud here you go: AAAAAUUUUUAAAAAAUUUUUUU' "Okay i got that, next" 'AAAAUUUUUUUWOWIEGRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAH' "There was an error in that scream bud can you resend that?"
oh no! That is horrible! You should be able to recover it unless the robber removed your program.
I will try to grab it so I can preserve it for you :S
Really sorry to hear your ds was stolen.. :[
You can skip my question. I figured it out. Im not good at explaining things, but basically: You use an if/than statement to define an x,y grid that can be clicked. I'll post a screenshot
I am starting to turn my text based idler into a sprite based idler :D The sprites are temporary. But my artistic talents (or lack thereof) are permanent :p
How do I add multiple spots to 'click' on a screen. For example, cookie clicker on sbs has one spot to click, how would i get 2 separate spots to click?
As long as he recreates the sprites by hand he is technically okay.
I cant tell if the people screaming for keys are being sarcastic after that one comment, but they are bloody annoying.
