a simple way to do it is by making a variable INC until it reaches a certain point, it wont be like spot on but it will wait the ammount of time, then once it is there make a timeout on it so after it spawns it will despawn after a while then respawn. like SPAWN=0 INC SPAWN,1 IF SPAWN==5000 THEN SPAWN_ITEM=TRUE IF SPAWN==10000 THEN SPAWN_ITEM=FALSE or something like that lol

commands you can see just type SP and see the stuff that come up and push the help button to learn about them. lastly ill teach you INC/DEC this INCorporates a variable by one DEC is the same but make it go down so its the variable you want to go down and how much you want it to go down at a time like INC X,1 used a lot for making a sprite move.

then the 2nd number is the definition number, found in smile tool under SP. so you would do (always put ACLS at the begining of your code) ACLS SPSET 0,0 this would set a strawberry in the top corner, now to move it out of the corner you would use SPOFS so first you put the management number of the sprite you want to move then the X,Y. like SPOFS 0,100,100 many other easy to learn sprite

*SGT *J.P.* REPORTING FOR ACTIVE CODING HELP DUTY!* anyways so lets begin on my favorite topic ARRAYS AND DATA LOAD/SAVE! jkjk. sprites, amazing creatures that feed off of X/Y :o ok spset sets the sprite, there will be two numbers after that, the first is the management number, this is what will tell apart your sprites can be anything from 0 to like 512 i think, (i would start with 0 btw) so tbc

first off MLG basically means awesome or cool, kind of like XD 2nd Island Wars (1) was not made on SB, it was made on another thing (was like a really bad game creator lol) also its not done yet as i said in my post (im not if people even read my posts saying "not finished" or "almost done") also lol yes catan is among my favorite games. i just finished a game like a min ago and i won! (yay)

sure. so you said this language, have you done others? -will help but a little later- first do you want to learn like just basic stuff or like sprite stuff or maps stuff..?..? a little specifying on what you want to learn will help a lot for me to tell you. or simpler- do you want a text adventure, RPG, puzzle game, shooter..? or just random stuff. lol

sorry but the next beta of Island Wars 2 will be delayed again because my uncle was SUPPOSED to come this Friday but just called and said he'd be here in about 20 mins! and hes a super awesome uncle and we'll be doing some super MLG stuff. by that i mean catan, or i should say.. ULTIMATE SETTLERS OF CATAN GAME! fun fact: Island Wars 2 took inspiration from Settles of Catan and Risk.

help on making a simple saving system

so i want to know how you can save variables and load them back in the next time you go into your game, would i use arrays or is it dont another way? lets say i want to save that i have 12 apples (APPLES=12) and 7 matches (same) how would i save those? anyways help would be REALLY appreciated!
