Also, if there is such a command, it would help tremendously with the kind of game I'm making. (Trying to keep it a secret) *spots J.P in the crowd* *Gives J.P a cold stare* you're the only one that knows about it... jk
I'm trying to figure out if there's a command that can count how many seconds pass from one activation point to another. This is kind of what I'm trying to do:
IF-timer command-THEN SPSET, you know the rest. So in a way it's spawning a thing after a certain amount of time.
If you've been struggling to get past print for a year, you could've looked up tutorials on YouTube or smile basic source.
I know there are at least two people that will probably respond to this post to help you.
Let me show you the REAL magic.
*enter scene where they're flying to the island in Jurassic park the movie*
J.P:*yells over wind* why did you bring me here!?
Me: you'll see! *crazy grin shows up*
*they go into the building*
*both walk through back doors which lead to a huge gate*
Me: WELCOME to Coding Park!
*Jurrasic park music plays*
Oh, that's what I should work on, stop coding games and start coding robot programs and make my stories a reality...Yeah, I'll let someone else do that...*gasp* I'm going to be on a list!
Mom! We did it!!!
Would make it into a suspenseful scene, but I've had my share of overdoing stories lol.
*Two weeks later*
*2ds turns on*
*J.P comes into the room with a smile, and brings the system, on a wheelchair, to the other room*
*sitting there are all the DS systems from the past*
J.P: it was a successful operation.
*game sounds from games from all the different systems start going*
*Scene darkens with fast-pace, inspirational music playing*
Wow, I never felt so sorry for a gaming system.
*Beep* *Beep* *steady beeping keeps going*
Nurse: Dr. J.P, we need more anesthetic FAST.
*J.P runs in with a lab coat on and a needle in his hand*
J.P: ok, hold him down nurse. *looks down at patient* This may pinch a little, ok?
*needle goes in and 2ds shuts down*
*a single tear falls down J.P's cheek*
J.P: it's for the greater good.
*3ds starts blinking red*
J.P: oh, it'll be fine for a few more minutes.
3ds: J.P! Please! Plug in the charger! My life is on the line!
J.P: did somebody hear something?
3ds: *sob*
This sounds suspiciously a lot like passing your work onto someone else.... meh, I'll do it anyway.... maybe *cough cough* Oh, sorry, gonna have to take sick day.
So I was looking through the code and noticed that some of the arrays have VAR and others don't. Isn't VAR only for STRICT mode? I'm probably asking the most obvious question right now
