I'd suggest a feature where you can listen each kana with TALK. Maybe it won't sound so clear, but it might help.
I'd be motivated to do something similar to this with Chinese, but I've not learnt it fully yet and explaining/displaying each character would be a pain!
This is actually pretty nice. The only thing that I'd recommend is that when you get a question wrong, it shows you the correct answer or something like that so that it's easier to learn with it instead of just simply studying the tutorial page.
I'm currently working on a better and faster method of submitting answers to a test, which will also display the answer. I also want to give the player the ability to pick which kana are in the tests. I won't be able to do that in under a day, though. Thanks for the suggestions everyone.
