Do you guy's think it could be possible to make mode 7 work by drawing two gpages simultaneously instead of just one?

if you draw two gpages simultaneously you're just doing twice the work, so half the speed? unless I'm misunderstanding

For starters, I have thought up another fighting game called Rakugaki Brawl. The game features Virtua Fighter controls, but has a super meter for super moves. I may have given this project a head start. The screen looks great. But can't you get rid of the box surrounding it?

@KJ, the game isn't out yet, and may not be for a few months. @Jackson, you know that's a good idea. I'll experiment with that for a while and see what I come up with.

And to answer your question Nef, it's an RPG adventure to where you have to save a mystical underground world from a mad scientist from the future.

Unfortunately Jackson, not quite yet I have a bit more sprites to finish, some maps creat, and a lot of programming to do. And just a quick correction the mad scientist in from the past, from the 1800s to be precise, not the future.

I thought you said he was from the future when you first posted about this game. BTW I can try and make a map using the sprite editor. And maybe I can try and make something with the P3D modeler, make the game really pop.

Yeah, we could try that, in fact, I think it would look even better than mode 7! I'll get to work on it too.

I have that. BTW I might put Toon Fighters on hold. I realized how much data that whole thing would take, but with the support from 50 folks, I promised that Toon will make an appearance in Rakugaki Brawl. So that people will experience his power before the game can be made.
