Project is far away from completion but I'm not planning to delve further since I'm interested in other projects and I also reached a limit on what I can do with the little programming abilities (and spare time) I have. Maybe it was kinda far-fetched? interesting project, though. My next project will be that long-time pending project in the Game and Watch style...

Time of closing this post. Before closing it I have to say I modified a little the program so the king can be dragged all around the board and only over the board. Added a toggle button when 'X' is pressed and that's it. Will post final key in a while.

it doesn't hurt to publish results of something you found out, does it? Besides, maybe there's someone else out there that was also wondering how to do a touchscreen toggle switch.

Simple Touchscreen Toggle Switch. It's just a chest that opens when touched and closes when touched again. Public Key: P3KNQ5KS

Think I get it now! since TM is a counter that adds as long as the touchscreen is touched, the condition TM > 0 will be true each and every time TM goes +1, that's why I had this cintillatin, always changing 0/1 flag value. On the other hand TM == 1 occurs once and exactly only once each time the touchscreen is pressed.

Thanks Norris, Hanzo! @Hanzo: Think I've seen something like that on Stackoverflow.com or somewhere around the net. Though it wouldn't work in here SmileBASIC. Wrong part is I never tried it!!

Any hints? I'm trying to do a simple on/off switch but no working. Logic goes like this: Screen untouched (TM<0) and flag False, then set flag to True. either, set False.
