Key: «TX3YN3Q4» And just like that, my daisy wheel keyboard is done! This is the same system Steam uses for typing with controllers! It may take a while to get used to it, though. Funny enough, the text editor took more effort to make than the actual keyboard. (; -_-)

If I ever get to truly finish it, I may add... -Cut/Copy/Paste functions. -Alt-code typing, to add any character not on the wheel. -Tabbing. -Shift Key, so it isn't necessary to be constantly switching keyboard modes to type Uppercase/Lowercase letters. Any suggestion or feedback is appreciated!

look good so far and it works, :) i do know you can refind your array for your characters too do the same thing then define each characters, your find out as you improve your code technique...your interface is clean simple and response great, good job on it!

What if you made it use 2 circle pad presses, instead of circlepad,ABXY? Then you could have 64 (8*8) different characters!

Oh, and making the selection stay after releasing the circle pad would be nice. (adding that would be harder than it sounds, I think.)

Thanks for the feedback! @NagatoYuki I might be able to do something similar to the Metroid Prime 2 menu with a bit of time. @Darkcon I left the character definition array like that so that people would be able to customize it by changing the characters, or even inputting entire words. @12Me21 I actually planned on doing that, but I don't have a N3DS or Circle Pad Pro to test it with. Sorry!

I don't have a n3DS either. What I meant was to use use just the normal circle pad. for example, to type S, you would push the circle pad down, then release it, then push it to the right.

@12Me21 I see... It would probably be more inconvenient to use, though. I think it'd be slower than Stick+Button and there would have to be a way to cancel out of a stick press, in case you selected the wrong one or mispressed it. I might consider it, though!

re yup, I'm reskinning, poorly bootlegging, and recoding Arcanum Stone in an attempt to understand how some of it works, and I can kinda understand most of it.
