char is just a integer, but string. scanf is not input, you must call scanf with pointers. \n is not newline (it's \n).

Miki★, Unfortunately I cannot get too technical with things such as scanf and pointers. Though I could potentially make pointers, they would be difficult and off. Scanf I could definitely improve, and I'm improving as I learn syntax over (I remembered a lot wrong surprisingly).
