If you mean something like this, then too bad because copyright exists. I don't think there is anything wrong with making a game similar to it, but no games similar to it exist.
Quote, you still shouldn't just assume I'm not joking next time i say something like "Its time to stop!!" because that was a quote from a video. Sometimes I'm joking, but sometimes I'm not, And even then i was saying that to crazy pro who was making maps for a copyrighted game. Obviously nothing bad would have happened though, because he didn't make it public.
Anyway...
@Quote, dude no need to be rude, i was just joking. Like seriously Quote, obviously I'm not saying for him to stop making his game whenever I'm just joking.
People may be wondering what i need, so basically i need a random number generator that generates any number up to 6, then i will just need the same thing but up to a bigger number.
Sorry it took me so long to say this, anyway i have finished part of the FAQ and i will post a screenshot when it is done.
YDB Devlog #2:
So, i haven't gotten to adding in the manual yet, but now i have a question: how would i make something like dice, where it could roll up to a six and then it would take you to that spot? I have the same sort of question for my battle system, because i am going to have multiple different enemies, but i need to figure out how it would randomly pick an enemy.
Thanks - King
Well there is a game called Spooky maze (Look at screenshot attached) that uses a Raycasting library (made by the same person who made the game). It's made by Calc84maniac if I'm not mistaken, so look him up in the activity feed if you want the key, because i don't remember it.
YDB Devlog #1:
Alright so from now on I'm going to (hopefully) post a devlog on the progress of the game so that you all can stay updated on how I'm doing in making the game.
Anyway, I'm going to try and add a rules or FAQ menu in a bit, and then I'll have the fun job of making the first game board...
Ok, so i just changed the name back to what it originally was since it sounds a LOT more fitting than the other name. Also, Alpha V.0.1.0 will hopefully be coming out sometime next month, so look forward to that!
Alright, i would like to announce a side project that i am now working on! And that game is, "Yoshi's electro fat"... Yes i do realize that the name is dumb, but my brother suggested it since the game is going to be a recreation of this board game we made once.
I don't know though, i may just change the name because it is super dumb.
Just to clear this up, if i clear the entire sprite sheet, save it, and come back to this sprite sheet will all of the original sprites still be there? I'm just a little bit paranoid since this is going to be my first time attempting to make sprites.
I know that this version of Simeon's program "Fractal canvas" was made specifically for *J.P*, but i couldn't resist at least trying it out!
This picture really makes me want to use it as my favorite post...
Ok, lets just say that i want to make a sprite, where would i make it because i don't know how to make a separate sprite-sheet, that is if you can make one.
