I've heard that they've had around 40 billion dollars last year, and that number probably went up with the Switch sales. I don't think money is the problem, but rather Nintendo is putting more focus to the Switch, and wants to slowly move away from other consoles. I still think they should reconsider their decision and keep Miiverse running, and add it to the Switch.
