You could have a setting to change your movement option (though making that would probably be super complicated. Or you could just use both at the same time.
It's your game though, you do what you want with it.

I say, Circle-pad! I also have a way to have collision that is less glitchy then the one you use(d) (It's in the demo I sent you over Swapdoodle...). You can Copy and paste it. It uses lots of variables.
