I've been interested in game making for a while, but I need a good program to start off with. Btw, I am completely inexperienced. :/

It will definitely take awhile before you even know simple button commands (it depends). But i think you should look into it a bit more and decide. And if you would ever need help, anyone in the community (usually) will help you out.

i was once a noob like you.. (no offence) but after you get the hang of it, you can make anything, plus the people on miiverse here are really nice and will help you with mostly everything. if your looking for somewhere to start, you have found your place.

Actually, if you have a computer, try scratch.mit.edu. It really helped me understand the concept of coding.

Don't hesitate to start off with SmileBASIC, because BASIC is primarily for beginners. BASIC stands for Beginner's All-purpose Symbolic Instruction Code.

But don't think it will be easy! Learning computer coding from scratch (no, not the mit.edu thing) is hard to do on any programming language.

PChicken, I learned coding the same way. Its a good program to start out with.

If you need anyone for help you should Hylian, PChicken, V.G Lover, or someone else that is pretty good. As a matter of a fact, pretty much anyone in this community is pretty good at coding.
