Can somebody help me with this? its supposed to move the camera and the weapon sprite up and down when i walk the camera moves but the weapon just flickers and when i put VSYNC it lags.

Is the attached kind of what you are looking for. It has a character move with a bouncing sword.

Ok, thanks i forgot to say my game is an FPS in my post I got the cam&weap move code from the spooky maze game and replaced the variables with mine the only problem is i can't stop it from flickering and it won't move so i need help fixing it.

try not using absolute, it makes things jagged when using a smooth sin or cos movement method.
