I'm finally working on a game for learning Japanese. Here's what it looks like! (If uo expect memes, don't even bother.)

It looks very nice! However, we cannot eat sand.

This looks very interesting, even though the typical american 3ds doesn't have Japanese symbols....I question Nintendo's actions alot.

lol dat bad lip reading meme Since the "can" in "You can eat sand young man" is imperative/instructional rather than ability, a more natural way to say it is 砂を食べるがよい。 Or more vulgarly, 砂でも食べてろ。

I never knew that. I believed that "can" is just equal to "be able to" and the one can be replaced with the other. Thank you very much for your instruction. In any case, we cannot eat sand.

I hope this will be helpful! I've been wanting to learn a new language lately and Spanish/French don't sound appealing for my area of the world
