I have a good amount of skill in programming; my skill level being that I can re-create PONG. I want to get this so I can practice programming on the go. Also, are there any in-game tutorials, or is Basic really that simple of a language?

I bought it for portable programming, and I love it. The language is relatively simple, especially compared with other versions of BASIC, but it's weak on in-app tutorials. You'll have to read example code, skim Smilebasic.com, ask questions, and of course experiment. But it's totally worth it.

Playing around with new commands was fun; almost makes me miss knowing nothing...

If you remember which command you need to use, but forget how it works (or what its i/o parameters are), position the cursor on the command and tap the help button. Documentation about that command, and an example how to use it, will appear. The help doesn't overlap the line you're editing, so you don't need to switch back and forth between your code and the help.

This soft has no in-game tutrial, but if you question how to programing, this comunity's people answer your question. I'm japanese. If you can't understand my comment, I'm sorry.
