My English talk program is coming along well - "you are my senpai" is the text I'm testing right now.

Good job! I've been wanting to make use of the talk function since MKII. You can display (print) English text while making the program talk in Japanese/letters, creating the illusion of it speaking in English.

I looked into this as well. It's a shame that he wants to pronounce long I sounds as "ahh-eee," but that's a small complaint.

Well, it's pretty much done with the sound-breaking part of it. It broke the text into sounds (which doesn't work too well with english) and then said it. But I will add another part to it where it says the word based off of the pronunciation of the word and not the sounds. So it would change "How are you" into "HAO R YU" basically.
