Stars seem fine to me. Better to have a new item than one that makes no sense.
Dots could work too, but Stars may be better
The first real game I made was ^^^^^^ for Petit Computer (DSiWare app). I made it while learning Petit Computer, and the game was somehow a huge success.
Pardon my thoughts but that seems like VVVVVV upsidedown xD When did V6 release? Because if you made ^^^^^^ back on the DSi, could you have made that before it? I liked V6, so if your game is anything like it, I'd like it.

Either way I think it looks great and I hope to play it sometime! I'm trying to learn to program but so far I've only replicated the Mario Theme via BMGPLAY, but I've read a lot of the other functions.
I make comics here more than learn to program, though xD

Just realized that I forgot the pause menu.
Also, I was testing the game on my 2DS and it seems that there's a long loading time after the developer screen.
AHH I forgot to download 0.1! I've been practicing for the latter half of today on getting variables down. I knew I was forgetting to download the beta game. Thank you for reminding me, and I'm looking forward to trying 0.2 on (monday?)
