Let's try "VKAKV3ZP".
This is simple racing game similar to ancient NES games.
A button as throttle and B button as brake. While you select manual transmission mode, press R B
button to gear up and L button to gear down. For steering control, press "left" or "right" of direction keypad.
Thank you very much for playing this game. As you say, smileBASIC has much high potential, and I think I have to study harder to utilize its performance thoroughly.
I promise to continue making games you can enjoy playing.
I know that several sources to assist music composition have been already released by smileBASIC users, but I have not used them yet. I write MML strings directly. And sometimes I use free piano keyboard app of my smartphone to check chords.
Sprites and BG characters of this game are stored together as linear (1 dimensional) data array "HNZRQBS", and at the beginning of this program, it'll be uncompressed and distributed to each graphic layer. Please refer to line 151-257 of this source.
10 US$ is expensive for everyone, then I recommend you to consider deeply before you buy it.
But I believe it should produce value more than 10 US$, because a lot of awesome games have been already released by SmileBASIC users and you can download, play and analyze them at will.
Oh, I've already decided that I wanted it a long time ago. So I'm getting it today, unless something changes that. I've seen a LOT of games to download and try, and I've also come up with some great ideas for games! $10 isn't too expensive for me, $40 is! And that's how much all the really good Nintendo 3DS games cost. Have you/do you plan to join SmileBoom's programming contest? You'd do great!
Nice headlights.
I like the music. The whole game reminds me of Pole Position! I've learned how to arrange music, so I guess that's a good start. I arranged a whole song in SmileBASIC. But I've still got quite a ways to go before I can make games.
Thank you very much for playing.
I'm going to enter the contest. Currently, degree of perfection is approx 80%.
I'm glad you have found headlights. We can find them only when we give car a spin at the night course. And have you found that you can put on taillights by brake?
Yeah, I noticed that, about the tail lights. I tried Normal, and I saw the difference. The Blue cars aren't faster, but if you collide with one you spin out more. I haven't tried Hard yet. You could probably be one of the winners in the contest!
Ok theres this game How do you load maps cause it keeps saying type mismatch
& how do you use the circle pad to move sprites & if you go to a certain place it loads like a level complete sign
