Also, as seen with Petit Minecraft, the 3ds really isn't suited to handle Minecraft 3ds. In fact, Terraria 3ds edition did not have dyes for this exact reason. So, any "Minecraft" game on SmileBasic would most likely have to be coded in a very specific way to avoid slow gameplay while still having all the features.

To sum up Minecraft on 3ds, there is none. There are multiple fan-made versions and Minecraft-style games on the eshop, but there is no official Minecraft. Also, it is highly unlikely (almost impossible) that a Minecraft SmileBasic game would last long before being deleted due to copyright concerns. But hey, never stop trying.

Er... I'm not sure I explained it right. So, even though the IR port is not directly manipulative, if you found out what data created what pattern you could possibly control it INDIRECTLY.

On top of that, if high-speed manipulation of a 3ds's infrared transmitter is possible, you could possibly interact with actuall ds games that use IR light. This means you could interact and possibly do multiplayer with a game without even having it.

Not only that, but unlike a standard TV remote, you could control ANYTHING that uses IR light. What do you think? Is it doable?

So I was browsing around on the internet when I got a really cool idea. To begin, it is commonly known that a 3ds uses infrared light as its method of communication. TV remotes use infrared too. So, what if a program could be created which manipulates the IR light to where it can control an appliance.

Sorry to interrupt, but it seems like the viewing angle is EXTREMELY different between this room and the kitchen. My advice would be to keep the player looking from a constant angle so that the gameplay will remain smooth. What do you think?

Let me rephrase to clarify, it does not appear that I have SmileBASIC because it is on my OTHER 3ds. (To be honest though I really never use it). On this 3ds, I have miiverse but NOT smilebasic.

I have smilebasic on my old 3ds, this is the new one that has miiverse.
