So like what raimondz said, in the for loop code you have it setting up the trees. Every time that code runs, the program picks new random x,y coordinates and places a sprite there. In the code for while you are playing the game, all you want in your for loop is the spofs.

What I have might be a simpler version. I tried to add comments in the code to explain what I did. ARL4EKNV The math, which I didn't explain much in the program, stems from using the percentage of current HP to max HP and matching it to the length of the HP bar. The program gives you a kinda formula thing to work from so its easy to use.

Or if you aren't familiar with Fianl Fantasy, cucco's in Zelda games is another good comparison. Basically just a silly-looking enemy who can be scary strong that looks like a duck.

Are you familiar with cactuar in Final Fantasy games? They look silly/out of place, but they are usually really dangerous because of their 10,000 needles attack. You should make an enemy like this, but instead of basing the enemy off of a cactus, make it a duck.

As far as functionality with the circle pad goes, you should be able to detect if the circle pad is being pressed, and then you could use SPSTOP to stop animation when the circle pad isn't being pressed.

I don't know if you have any other uses for D_ANIM or L_ANIM than what you show here, but from looking at the help function for SPANIM, you should be able to replace lines 634-640 and 648-654 with a single SPANIM code each. Maybe something like SPANIM 200,"3",5,1108,5,1109,5,1110,1111

I made a silly mistake yesterday! I wanted to share my progress with this labyrinth game I'm making, but I shared the file size instead of the key! What a dork am I.... Anyways, the key is SELE3K4V. I'm looking for help - What should I do with this?

So I spent 0.5 - 1 hour rewriting the first chunk into something I think is easier to read. I'm unsure, though, if what I've done interferes with your uhhh....artistic vision. So I didn't do more. I saved what I did as "Revision". KR3NF3QJ

So I played what you made, but found it to be too dense to understand at times. All of the text capitalized, the random colors, the odd starting points for the text, and the poor management of text-wrapping made most of the story unreadable.

The problem I'm having is what to do now. A maze so large may be kind of impressive, but it's not a lot of fun to wander around in. I'm trying to brainstorm some ideas for things to add to give the game more depth.
