hmm.. well its all about islands (hence the name Island wars 2) so the main goal is to take control of all the islands (7 or 9 of them, undecided yet) but theres many things you can do, you can chop down trees and get wood to craft stuff, you can pay the trader to do stuff, you can upgrade and build buildings like sawmill, blacksmith, you can go mining and fight enemys on other islands. basicly it

Are you familiar with cactuar in Final Fantasy games? They look silly/out of place, but they are usually really dangerous because of their 10,000 needles attack. You should make an enemy like this, but instead of basing the enemy off of a cactus, make it a duck.

Or if you aren't familiar with Fianl Fantasy, cucco's in Zelda games is another good comparison. Basically just a silly-looking enemy who can be scary strong that looks like a duck.
