I understand your horizontal flip technique, very good! But the trick to the distance effect is putting the right size number into the SPSCALE instruction. I'm sure you know how to do that, though. In fact, now that I'm thinking about it, I'd think it'd be something like, finding the difference between player's position and AI's position. Multiplayer would be cool, but maybe difficult.

This is great! I understand that once you add Mode 7, though, you will need a lot of sprites for the cars at different angles and resizing effects for distance, like Super Mario Kart (really fun game!) or F-Zero.

I see what you mean about processing speed. Your Mode 7 tests always took a long time to load. That last one was good, though. I don't understand why SmileBASIC can't use more of the 3DS's processing power. The system itself can obviously handle a whole lot more than this.

You're doing very well! When your Mode 7 engine is perfected, you can simple apply this setup to it, making set positions on the track for the AI cars!

It already has "RACE!", where you try to get to the finish by pressing your button as fast as possible. "SIMON!" is next. Each player gets a color. In "SIMON!" the grey square will change into one of the four colors at a random time. If the color is yours, press your button! If you miss it, you're out of the game! If you press it and it's NOT your color, you're out! Last one left wins!

About this game I'm making, I haven't had the time to work on it for a long time. I'd like to finish it sometime. I've already added a "3, 2, 1, GO!" beeping sound to it. Nothing moves until the sounds are done. When it has enough minigames, I plan on adding 1 player mode, as well as 2 and 3 player modes.

Ok... Well, anyway, the person who made Battleminer also made The Magic Hammer, and he is almost done with another surprise game. I can tell you what it is when it's available. I don't know what it is yet.

Thank you, that's all I wanted to know. Making music with BGMPLAY is like, the second thing I learned in SmileBASIC. I just didn't know how to pick an 8-BIT sound for it.
