Sweet. A futuristic game huh? Okay I made the battle screen display for the touch screen as you saw. But I put a couple of details in there. I'll show you.
Plus I was thinking more on the sidelines for cutscenes and such. For example... Remember the car function you were talking about? At the end of it all you jump onto a trailer carrying a save point on top. that's where a boss should be placed.
A little complex. Don't you think? Well, the X button is okay. But how about this? Since people are using regular 3DS and XL's... I'll work on the details if it's alright with you.
And to answer that question, in the other post, I think I have something in mind. There are ways to pause the games without the start or select buttons. Touch Screen, L and/or R buttons. For the New 3DS, you would use the ZL and ZR buttons. I can create a inventory menu, and file menus perhaps. While I'm at it I might as well make shop sprites. They might be made for the touch screens, IDK.
As for the car, I think I found something you should study to figure out the details. If the P3D engine doesnt cut it for the game. Then the engine in this game will. It's a very very old post you'd have to spend five to eight minutes to find the code.
How about this? I'll use a bit of the P3D engine, I'll make a map with mountains and stuff that looks like a Final Fantasy game from the first Playstation.
