I won't make Ogiri deadline due to overwork during holidays. Too bad. Anyway, Korg M01D is on sale. Is there an easy way to integrate it or do we have to do MIDI2MML the hard way?
I wish discostew is active here. He'd be able to deconstruct MIDI specs easy!
I drew this with the awesome Red Glasses drawing tool! It's one of my favourite characters in gaming, Demo!
Comments, criticism and suggestions of what to draw next are all welcome, I am still very new to digital art that isn't pixel art. (I only ever made 2 other things and they were not very good.)
Those of you who are wondering how to do walking animation, here you go! It's pretty easy to do it the hard way, instead of using SPANIM, but you do pay in price of jerkiness, and more CPU cycles. Still, if you're okay with that, then easy as pie!

A few fonts (GRPF) I made…
—
LOAD"GRPF:C_FONT_01",0
LOAD"GRPF:S_FONT_04",0
—
C_FONT_00=Classic font
C_FONT_01=Classic font#2 (gradient effect [affect?])
S_FONT_04=Slade’s font #5 (S_FONT_02 [not included] first used the gradient effect [affect?] and S_FONT_03 [also not included] finished it)
And etc.
Remember this? Recreated the famous(?) Mona Lisa icon from Windows 3.1. I adapted a different pallet, however, which I felt was more fitting for the piece. SmileBASIC does have a larger range of colors! :D
• Mona Lisa: Leonardo Da Vinci
• Mona Lisa Icon: Microsoft
• Color Pallet & SmileBASIC Adaptation: Me
Created a test window that hovers on the 'desktop' (currently BASIC prompt) out of sprites and a GFILL box. Window is at -75 depth (Z-index), GFILL at 0. Window uses 12 sprites including buttons + 1 addtnl. for the icon (, set at -25 Z-index.) Much still to do.
Alphadog Update:
-Added a demo of a new game, The Quest (Due to game, file size increased by a lot)
The quest is where you drag the touch screen to use lightning to defeat all 5 guys. But try not to defeat ghosts though. (Errors will occor if you start the 4th round,or if you use any other button in the game.
