Drawing IS an intended use of the program. Coders who get annoyed with artists using SB within its intended purpose need to back off. But they won't. Mika is being a peacemaker here, by leaving the place where the troublemakers are. Don't waste good art on people who don't want it, but at the same time, don't feel threatened by them.
