Not quite, this game has many similarities to minecraft as you mine, chop trees, collect resources, and craft; but, the gameplay is different and mine. The camera is set up above the world and the world is not 3d blocks.
It would be awesone if there was a game where you use the camera to detect and identify items, objects and materials and could detect your actions to make it like Minecraft in real life and would be the new "Pokémon Go" getting fans of the game active.
