Hello everyone! By now you probably have seen me around the community and seen that I was considering converting my platform for making HaloDs. From this I bring you the topic of this post. I have decided NOT to make HaloDs on SmileBasic. Any questions will be aswered in the comment section.

First off, I would like to explain why I made this decision. I was watching youtube and I saw a video of FNAF for smilebasic. In the description it said that the game got taken down for copyright issues. This is a problem because if I were to make HaloDs via SmileBasic, I would NOT WANT IT TAKEN DOWN.

Also, I feel like in SmileBasic somebody could discredit me easily even though I made it.

No, I will simply make it on petit computer and I guess I just won't upload the QR CODES so that no-one else can play it and discredit me.

Yes, but if SmileBasic's programming language has absolutely NO ADVANTAGES OVER PETIT COMPUTER then why convert? The large audience was the only modivating factor.

Excuse me? It has many advantages. Speed, first of all. Then there are the larger spritesheets, the online key system, the 3D effect, better arrays, and not having a dead community.

*Facepalm*/LOL/OMG FYI Petit Computer never had a community, also in petit computer it's acuall programming instead of them holding your hand through everything with extremely basic commands.

If you've never used SB in depth then of course, you might not think it has any advantages. But the new language features and improvement to the environment put it far ahead of PTC in terms of quality and usability. If you've never use a DEF, a REPEAT loop etc. then you have no idea what you're saying

SmileBASIC has countless advantages, including the ones PChicken mentioned, and the higher resolution, faster speed, extra file types, syntax highlighting, and all around improvements.

And yes, PTC DID have a community in the Petit Computer Wikia, and that was a great place for advice and sharing programs. Don't try spreading blasphemy.

Improvements such as no quality games and extremely basic commands. However, I must admit that the higher speed is a big advantage.

There have been many quality games made, like GIVERS, Jintri, Plane 2 Solid, Starlight, Spooky Maze, Amiboo, Cave Island, 3D PARKOUR PRO, Bub, Lunar Saviors, and much more. Have you even downloaded a program?

When I said quality games I meant games that are actually worth your time, not games that look like they're designed for an Atari.

Also, you said I don't have SmileBasic when you don't even have Petit Computer. In my opinion unless you have BOTH GAMES, neither of us can really give a fair comparison.

V360 I can honestly say that I LAUGHED WHEN I SAW THAT SCREENSHOT. You said petit computer is "glitchy" and SmileBasic had multiple bugs when it was released. Such as converting the number 13 to 10 in the code.

i like both i'm not complaining for both they both work if you know what you are doing i enjoy both though for pc i have the full megaman2 game and i think the one that had that extended format on sb is supermario maker. raycaster on pc has visual and speed disavantages than the one on sb. but i'm not complaining for both. and i want petitcomputer for wiiu that's already released on japan

i have both and I have to say SB is a substantial improvement, in the right hands. you just haven't had the chance to see that clearly. anyway have you ever played the bee movie trailer in PTC? no? well then

Did you even read all of my post? I said both were glitchy. Anyway, I recommend you look at SmileBASIC Source. It has quality games. If you want to share your game without running through the servers, try Petit Modem. Finally, please give examples of the "hand-holding" commands. is it bad that i enjoy these flame wars

"converting the number 13 to 10" That's not what happened. CHR$(13)!=the number 13. CHR$(13) got corrected to CHR$(10) because CHR$(13) is a line break character that doesn't break lines.

Also does SMILEBASIC have Halo? No? Exactly! Petit computer Halo is in development.

No one cares, Halo on PC.. Yeah I'm sure that plays great and has great graphics (sarcasm). You obviously just want to argue and act elitist but you're notimpressing anyone.

There can only be one randy in the SmileBASIC community. Please leave, because you have no idea what you're talking about.
