i'm new to this program and want to make a space shooter could someone help? (preferably just put some code or something in the comments)

Well, it would use arrays (which I still don't understand how to use) so my advice is to get ideas from the example 7 in the sample project button thing in the menu, then goto EX7ALIEN and check out the code there.

how do i look at or edit the code for the example projects?

when you click STOP then it should take you to the menu. Then click "create programs with SmileBASIC" then click EDIT, then you could see the code.
